Acne Treatment
Acne is a problem that can affect anyone at any age. Although not
life-threatening, it can bring misery to the sufferer. However, it is a
fairly simple problem to treat and a response is usually seen within a
few weeks. We have a range of effective treatments to tackle
even the most stubborn of acne problems, including the latest laser
technology.
Blue laser light or 950nm Phototherapy is used on the affected area; this permeates the
tissue to reach the bacteria responsible for the acne, known as
p.acne, which is targeted safely and effectively. The high-intensity
light triggers the proliferation of endogenic porhyrins, which
attack and destroy the P.acne bacteria within the skin.

We also carry out a full range of acne skin peels including glycolic acid and enzyme peels. Sometimes we may use a combination of both laser treatment and skin peels. We will advise you at consultation, which is the best option for you.
